Statement on 2018 New York Democratic Primary Election

In response to the results of yesterday’s statewide Democratic primary election, Empire State Indivisible released the following statement:

“Last night’s primary wins that ended the IDC will improve our state legislature, and we will keep demanding change throughout our government. New York can be so much better, and not everyone is doing everything they can to stand up to Andrew Cuomo and the kind of New York he represents. When we have a clear vision for change, we will put in the work in order to make it happen.”
